Surplus and asset disposal
SDP General Partnership is beginning the process to sell off and dispose of any Construction Equipment and/or Surplus Materials from the West White Rose CGS Construction Project. This will include heavy equipment, small tools, construction consumables and the like. Beginning in Q3-2024, SDP will begin publically posting Expressions of Interest on this webpage and through the Energy NL membership distribution (https://join.energynl.ca/become-a-member).
Public postings will be managed either through the SDP Procurement Team, or a third party auction services provider. Offers and proposals will be considered looking at best return for the Project and in line with best practices in Sustainable Procurement. Interested parties must have a valid HST number in order to submit and will have the opportunity to respond to EOIs posted per Lot. Responders will be added to the individual Bidders Lists and invited to submit offers or proposals through an RFx process. SDP strongly supports providing opportunities to Canadian and, in particular, Newfoundland and Labrador companies and individuals on an overall competitive basis. SDP also encourages the participation of members of designated groups (women, Aboriginal peoples, persons with disabilities, and members of visible minorities) and corporations or cooperatives owned by them, in the event that acquisition of any assets or surplus materials by groups benefiting diverse communities serves as a project legacy in the region.

LOT0001 | Sale of Tower Cranes
SDP General Partnership is the Contractor for the Construction of Concrete Gravity Substructure (CGS) for the West White Rose Project (WWRP) in Newfoundland Canada.
SDP invites you to submit your interest to participate in the bidding process for the Sale of (4) Tower Cranes ranging from 20 ton to 110 ton capacity. There are currently (2) cranes ready for Sale and (2) available in the fall of this year. These Tower Cranes are of Kroll and Terex make. The Intent of this EOI is to reach out to all prospective Buyers, OEMs or End Users of these Cranes.
All EOI respondents will be given the opportunity to submit a proposal through a Request for Quote (RFQ) and will receive a detailed Package with RFQ.
